Fitrite is an independent shop selling shoes, boots, jackets, belts and other high quality leather goods on the Oxford High Street. The building has been a shoe shop for over 20 years.
It was at this location that William Morris, The Lord Nuffield, started his first bicycle repair business. He would later go on to found Morris Motors Ltd, and establish the Nuffield foundation, Nuffield College Oxford and many other charitable ventures.
The current proprietor has been managing the shop since the early 2000's, and has been an independent businessman for many years. He is passionate about customer service, and before setting up in Oxford he ran several successful businesses in central London.
